Scarification is a process that removes thatch and moss from your lawn’s surface. This allows water, air and nutrients to penetrate into the grass “root zone”. Thatch is a layer of organic matter that covers the surface of the soil. If your lawn has too much thatch, it can choke your lawn and stop it from growing healthily and evenly. When your lawn is Scarified it will allow more nutrients to reach the grass “root zone”, resulting in a revitalised, healthier and greener lawn. Stripping out moss allows the grass room to grow and gives a thicker healthier lawn.
